Spartans overcome slow start, beat Tenn Tech
Michigan State outscored Tennessee Tech by fourteen in the second half to secure a 80-63 victory in the Breslin Center. Maurice Ager had 23 points to lead the Spartans after a very slow first half. Redshirt freshman Marquise Gray had a career-high ten points in what may have been his best game under Tom Izzo.

Wednesday night’s win over the Golden Panthers gave the Spartans a tenth consecutive victory, improving their record to 11-2. Michigan State has one more non-conference game, on Saturday against Coppin State, before the Big Ten regular season begins.
