Spartans get crucial must-win victory over Hoosiers

Michigan State isn’t ready to roll over and play dead just yet in this season’s Big Ten title race. The Breslin Center provided the edge that MSU needed to blow out a depleted Indiana team 87-73. Dave Dye of the Detroit News reports that this win could help get MSU back on track.

Seniors Maurice Ager and Paul Davis bounced back from poor performances in two road losses to combine for 51 points in an 87-73 victory over No. 9 Indiana at the Breslin Center.

A little statement that the Spartans are still a major factor in this race?

“Definitely,” Ager said. “Indiana’s a great team. We beat them pretty good. That was a good statement.”
