MSU D wants to impress in final spring practice
In last weekend’s spring scrimmage, the Michigan State defense came out on top against the normally high powered MSU offense. That’s the first time that’s happened in these parts in quite some time. At Friday’s final public spring scrimmage (3:30 p.m, Spartan Stadium, free admission) the defense is hoping to prove that they truly have improved and that last weekend wasn’t a fluke.
Today, the defensive players get one final chance to show that last week’s performance was indeed a first glimpse of what fans can expect in September.
“We want to finish up the spring on a good note, a strong note,” strong safety Nehemiah Warrick said. “There’s some mistakes that still have to be fixed up.”
