Ager taken 28th overall by Dallas
Graduated Spartan guard Maurice Ager, considered a late-first-round prospect, worked hard in the past few days to give his draft stock a late boost. His effort did not make much of an impact on Wednesday night as he was taken 28th overall by the Dallas Mavericks. Ager became the second Spartan taken in the 2006 NBA Draft, behind fellow guard Shannon Brown who was taken 25th overall.
