MSU football season tickets sold out
For the second year in a row, Michigan State has sold out of Spartan Stadium football season tickets. The MSU Athletics Department reports that 61,227 football season tickets have been sold, the second-highest total in MSU history. MSU also sold 13,360 student season tickets, the most since 1991.
“This football season-ticket sales report only reinforces the fact that Michigan State has great, loyal fans,” Mason said. “We deeply appreciate their support. As the 2006 season approaches, the Athletic Department’s primary focus is customer service because our fans deserve a first-class game-day experience.”
“There’s an electricity in the air as the 2006 season approaches,” Spartan head coach John L. Smith said. “For the last three years, we’ve invested a lot of time, effort and energy into building a foundation for this football program, and our fans are about to be rewarded for their patience.”
