Izzo isn’t talking to or about Kentucky
For all the message board chatter that’s been going on about the possibility of Tom Izzo leaving Michigan State for Kentucky, there hasn’t been much hard reporting on it by the media. Sure, there’s been speculation, but nothing of substance really. In Tuesday’s Detroit Free Press, Shannon Shelton reports that Izzo isn’t saying much about the speculation.
Some MSU fans see that as a bad thing, while others believe that Izzo and MSU will benefit from this attention in the long run if/when he stays in East Lansing.
IZZO KEEPS MUM: Izzo would not address rumors and media reports Monday night that he is a top candidate for the head coaching job at Kentucky.
“I haven’t been contacted and I’m not going to comment on it,” he said.
