WILX News Ten Sports spoke with Team USA head coach Jay Wright about Michigan State’s Drew Neitzel, who is representing his state and country in this year’s Pan American games.
Last week, ESPN.com’s Andy Katz referred to Neitzel as Team USA’s go-to scorer.
The USA Pan Am team will lean heavily Hibbert, but he won’t be its go-to scorer. That role — and ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla is convinced of this after watching a scrimmage Tuesday night — likely will fall to Michigan State’s Drew Neitzel.
