Michigan State took control in the second half for a 78-72 win over No. 4 and previously unbeaten Texas at the annual Spartan Clash at the Palace of Auburn Hills. MSU head basketball coach Tom Izzo told WILX and other reporters that this might have been the coming out party for freshman Kalin Lucas.
