Trannon will sit out of OSU game

MSU will be without wide receiver Matt Trannon (did you know he played basketball for Tom Izzo?) in this weekend’s game against #1 Ohio State. The good news is that defensive tackle Clifton Ryan, safety Otis Wiley, and linebacker David Herron Jr. will all likely play against the Buckeyes.

Trannon earns Big Ten Player of the Week honors

For his record setting performance against Eastern Michigan, Matt Trannon has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.
This is the first time that Trannon has won the award. This week the Big Ten also honored Buckeyes James Laurinaitis on defense and A.J. Trapasso on special teams.
