Michigan State needed most of Raymar Morgan’s 31 points in MSU’s 65-59 win over scrappy Minnesota on Saturday. The performance earned Morgan Big Ten Player of the Week honors and Izzo recognized his improvement as the team prepares to host Purdue on Tuesday in a late 9 PM game.

The Big Ten Conference announced that Michigan State’s Drew Neitzel was named first team All-Big Ten by both the coaches and the media. The coaches also named Travis Walton to the All-Defensive team, and Raymar Morgan to the All-Freshman team.
