Tim Staudt of WILX News Ten Sports reports that several former Spartans have called Tom Izzo and his team this week as MSU prepares to face Temple on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
#5 seed Michigan State Spartans (25-8) will face #12 seed Temple Owls (21-12) at 12:30 on Thursday at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. Temple won the Atlantic 10 Conference championship over the weekend.
On Sunday night Tom Izzo spoke with the media and WILX News Ten Sports about MSU’s NCAA bracket.
WILX News Ten Sports was on hand as Tom Izzo celebrated his 300th win as Michigan State’s head coach with a 66-52 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes.
