That's during the um-northwestern game. If he was going to um he would be watching the game to see how they are doing, he must not be going there

In all seriousness, I would be shocked if he goes somewhere other than um

Well, everyone said that about Fred Smith as well.

We really, really, REALLY need to land Demens -- somehow, some way.

LB situation, both currently and in the future, is a little outside of Jones. I think Gordon will be pretty solid, too. Still, Demens would likely play -- or start -- immediately.

I have to disagree. Jones and Gordon seem to be the future Will and Sam LB's the next 3 years. We'll need a MLB to go with them. Of course you always need depth.

What LB spot is Demens projected to play?

If he's announcing during the Michigan game I'm thinking:

1) He really likes attention and wants a stadium full of people to give it to him, competing with the game itself

2) He doesn't need Michigan fans paying attention to the decision.

Demens wants to play for UM. He even saw gold through his maize and blue specks when they were historically whipped by and then by Oregon.

Demens has been basically written off as an MSU committ for a while now.

We could check that easily, you do mean the Nebraska that just survived Ball State, right?

A couple observations over the last couple of weeks. 1) Michigan accomplished more than State, largely because of who they played and the outcomes 2) Michigan State will almost certainly be a player in the years to come. No defensive player could not love to play for Duzzer and his attacking D. If he sticks around he'll likely put together one of the top defenses in the country.

The same fans that booed and called for Lloyd's head, holding signs that say Anyone But Lloyd (while being televised on ABC)? He should have stated that he loves fans that only cheer when they are winning. Bunch of spoiled brats.

How many scholarships to we have to give this season? We have 10 verbaled according to rivals, and looking at their data base i think we need to sign 11 more making a total of 21. Do we have 21 scholy's open?

Oh here is what i think we still need 9on top of the 10 already verballed)...
1QB
1RB - rumor is Ray has commited right?
1TE
2OL
1DL
2LB
2DB
1ATH-Ingram!

I think that would give us pretty good depth at every position.

Anyone know anything about Dewey Elliot, a top inside LB from last class who went unsigned and I think went to a prep school? Are we in the running for him?

Must have been his first college football game.

UM better hope he doesn't attend any other school's games.

What it says to me is he likes UM so much, that he'll call their crappy fans great. Seriously, why would someone call UMs fans great unless they planned on playing for them?

It tells me that these kids are better at handling the media than you think.

I think there was more MSU related talk around Smith at the time of the announcement than there is currently with Demens. Its UM.

You mean the shoulder pain recovering from the surgery? If Hoyer stays healthy might as well protect him.

The Smith to MSU rumors started 2, maybe 3 days before the announcement. We still have 6 days to go until Demens. If we don't hear anything by the 26th or 27th, its probably SCum.
