At this point I hope Jonas goes to ND and then realizes what a mistake he made

Orrrrrr...he realizes what a big mistake it WOULD be before he commits there. This way he can commit to us. That way would be much better.

I don't know how Weis is doing it but it sure looks like ND is in the driver's seat for Gray.

I'm going to be curious to see what happens here. Especially when (not if) there are more ND defections.

It's "jumping from the frying pan into the fire".

Yeah, why at 1 - 7, with '06 class recruits jumping ship as fast as they can and Charlie losing with his recruits, is ND more attractive than MSU?! You can see pretty much every MSU game on TV without too much problem, and MSU has it's share of guys in the NFL.

At this point I really hope Dantonio can land Ingram, because it's obvious Gray doesn't have much interest in being a Spartan. Better to have a player who really wants to be green.

That remains to be seen.

However, his size is very comparable to Gray. I just don't know if his instincts and measurables are as well.

no surpise . . . kids always give glowing remarks in the immediate hours following a visit and many sites slant - er redirect- their articles to play to the paying customers (what a concept) - lets see how Jonas feels after visiting MSU on November 3rd . . . me thinks he'll be mightily impressed with the atmosphere

Jonas Gray has committed to Notre Dame.

He seems to be putting lots of thought into his decision. Good job not to rush things, kid...

At leat he did not pull a Keith Nicol so I'm fine with his decision to go to ND. Hey sometimes MSU is not the best place to be for some kids, so I can't be mad at him for pickign ND. I wish him the best of luck and look forward to kicking his ***** when ND plays agianst MSU.

I know it's still Notre Dame, but they're 1-7

Has a team this bad ever recruited this well?

ESPN had them as the #3 recruiting class before Gray. Just makes Ingram more a of must get.
