everyone should read the rivals story on the kansas football program an how they developed talent (2* talent) into winners and high draft picks. These are kids with no other offers except Kansas offers.

I dont know where you got your info from, but Mark Ingram hasn't committed to State yet unless he committed over the weekend, and if he did then this board would be going nutts and you would know about it.

Ingram has *not* committed. You're likely confusing him with Ray.

Visitors for the PSU game??

Do we have a list or an idea of any recruits who will be visiting on senior day for the PSU game?? It should be interesting to see if and his staff can pull in some good recruits for the game considering The UM-OSU game will be going on down the road. If anyone has any names of players coming it would be appriceated

calispartan bringing it strong again. Tell us the story about MD discouraging recruits from visiting during games.

FTR I heard nearly all of our commits and a few other big time prospects were at the UM game.

If you think there is any game that we don't bring in at least several recruits, no matter how insignificant or significant they may be =

Mark Dantonio tells recruits not to come to football games, and if possible to avoid visiting MSU at all.-Calispartan

Gateway plays North Allegheny Friday night in the WPIAL Quad A SemiFinals. A couple of these guys might not show.

Not really *******. Gale Sayers was a 4-star on Rivals coming out of high school. Scout had him as a 5-star. Get your facts straight.

A story on SpartanMag stated that Stevens did not visit MSU for the UM game, and is still considering a visit. Surprising, as I swear their were people reporting what "he said" and how "he was really impressed with how loud it was."

Dantonio does in fact discourage kids from taking OFFICIAL visits during football game weekends as he feels that dec/jan visits are much more beneficial as the coaches can take a lot of individual time to get to know the players/families and vice versa. I believe he learned this at OSU. For unofficial visits, they are more than welcome. Building relationships between the coaches/current players and recruits/families is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more beneficial than just seeing a game day atmosphere and not spending much time with each other. That is how it is with this staff folks. I am sure it works a lot better than the JLS recruiting.

Looks like an under the radar kid named Brandon Weaver LB from Pennsylvania will be visiting this weekend. Not many offers yet but it says he has a 4.48/40 which is crazy for a LB

a 4.48 40 is crazy if he's 6'3 245

If he's 6'0 200 then it's less impressive

how big is he?

I think they know that.

From Brandon Weaver:

Quote:
"I've got one offer from Ohio," he said. "I am planning to go to Michigan State this weekend. They said they are in desperate need of linebackers and will put three more scholarships out. I also think West Virginia, Pittsburgh and Connecticut are close to offering me as well.
