Looks like an under the radar kid named Brandon Weaver LB from Pennsylvania will be visiting this weekend. Not many offers yet but it says he has a 4.48/40 which is crazy for a LB

a 4.48 40 is crazy if he's 6'3 245

If he's 6'0 200 then it's less impressive

We already have Adams, Burrell, and Robinson. Are Lipscomb, Trawick, White, Darks, and Carter any better? And do we actually have a shot at the top one? Who is the best:

Burrell- S
Adams- CB
Darks- CB
Lipscomb- CB
Carter- S/LB/WR
Trawick- S
Robinson- CB
White- CB

I think we have a pretty good shot with Lipscomb and he's prob the pure CB of that group.

That's a good frame, needs to add 25-30 lbs but that's the kind of speed we need at LB

I was surprised Deanadre Jones and Glen Winston didn't make that list. Both have serious MSU interest. Jones will probably visit pretty soon. Winston probably gets an offer as soon as he gets his grades up (hopefully).

I think Zack Heuter(O-line) will also get an offer before it's all said and done.

I doubt we take another DT seeing as how we took 3 last year and we've got a pretty good one this year in worthy. We're pretty well shelved there. The main priorities now are secondary, linebacker and O-line.

Main Competition: Stanford and Kentucky

The Scoop: Jones is a player the Spartan staff has been actively recruitng for quite a while now. Last year the staff was able to sign Tennessee OL prospect Jared McGagha and this year they are hoping Jones also decides that the Big Ten is the place for him. The Spartans are looking to set up a visit in the near future. An official visit to East Lansing could go a long way toward determining Jones' final destination.

We already have 3 DBs in this class how many more do we need? Adams and Burrell are future starters.
3 OL. Do we need 5?
and 2 LB. do we need 4? Williams is going to be good.

I read the entire article and I certainly don't have a subscription. Seriously, some people love to get their panties in a bunch over the search function and posting premium material. . .they're so quick to jump all over someone that they slip up like our friend did here.

MSU is in on some great prospects and the next few months are going to be exciting. They really need to land Ingram and Perry, that goes without saying. Landing one more CB and OL will be critical too.
