while this is true, I could also see how MSU is in the mix considering we are known as a WR school if anything.

saw how DT was blowing it up this year, and knows that this is the same type of offense that produced C.Rogers and Plax, as well as how many other NFL guys?

Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Barry Every couldn't stop gushing about Brown when he saw him in the state playoffs, and Brown impressed again during the all-star week.
"If you knew Plaxico Burress was coming out of high school where would you put him in the Top100," Every asked when talking about Brown. "He has excellent hands, and is every bit of 6-foot-6, with very good speed for his size. When I saw him, he didn't disappoint in any area. He should be a true star on the college level and then later on in the NFL. He's got it all."

do we really want another WR in this class? yes the kid is probably a freak and would be great down the road. But with dell, smith, Williams (assuming TJ doesn't stay on defense) BJ cunningham, White, and Martin. and I know theres a bunch i don't know off the top of my head.

just reading some stats...
McDonald runs a 50 sec flat 400 m. Generally speaking, that will be within a second or two of the state champion on any given year. and hes an OL prospect.....that speaks for both speed AND endurance.

The guys an athlete, a really, really big athlete at that. The SM guys think he's undervalued in the rankings and after watching his film I can see why(not that I'm an expert). Dude can fly and play just as good on the OL as the DL.

I watched some Generation Next show with Lemming on CSTV tonight, and he mentioned Ohio State trying to land Nick Perry. Am I missing something there, or did Lemming just not do his homework?

Lemming not doing his homework. I dont trust much of what the national guys say. It's pretty easy to say that OSU, USC, LSU and others have a chance at the top guys in the country. I could take the top 20 national recruits every year and predict that they will go to one of the top 10 programs. I would probably be 50% every year.
Perry has stated numerous times in interviews who he is is interested in, it MSU, USC, WVU, SCum, Miami with MSU leading. He only has 4 weeks to make visits once the dead period ends and has no plans on taking a trip to OSU. Like Ingram, Perry has been very thorough about his decision and since it would be an extreme longshot for OSU to even get a visit, its even less likely that Perry is interested in them.
The sad thing is that Lemming has some power as to where recruits are ranked. I'm suprised that he didnt mention ND b/c he is a big ND **** sucker.

posts like these are so friggin cowardly and stupid. This is just like the guy who claimed to know Suttons Ex and said we should all hate him because she said he was insecure about himself .
So the kid smoked pot in highschool big ****in deal. Of course he was inconsistent if he was high half the time. Why does any of this matter now? Your boy probably hates him because him and some of teammates ran a train on his girl or something.
Truth is people like you will take pot shots at a person on here because you're protected by the anonymity of this message board. I guarantee you wouldn't trash the kid in person to his friends and family out in the real world so why do it on here?

Dude....I dont care who we already have. If it is true he is looking at Michigan state vs. Mississippi, we work our hardest to get him here.
I would like to see a Jan visit setup prior to getting any hopes up.
