Someone has started a thread saying that a 4 star recruit for UM is considering MSU now. Anyone know who it is and if it is legit?

I have heard the same thing about LB Fitzgerald I think his name is. Rivals has him ranked 12 I think also. I haven't seen it documented anywhere though and would be suprised.

It is legit and will be visiting in January, the Scout guys for scum broke the news spartanmag guys are confirming it and said that there will be some more surprises along the recruiting front in the near future.

Comp has confirmed this on the underground bunker. Apparently MSU was in on the kid before he committed to scum. He is scheduled to visit MSU in January and Comp is hinting that there will be some more surprise visitors being revealed as we go forward into January.

Its just a beautiful time of year - until the recruits start going elsewhere.

Yeah, I loved all the people saying "OMG we could get Demens, Smith, Hoover, Perry, Gray, etc, etc!!"

Then when Dantonio doesn't land all of these guys everyone turns on him and complains.

I don't think we're getting this Fitsgerald guy, but it's a good sign he's that interested. Once we put together a couple good seasons in a row, we'll land these guys.

i don't think fitzgerald is coming here, unless he has some connections to the mitten. He is from New Jersey, you know.

Scout and spartanmag are reporting he will be makiing a decision soon and spartanmag has Akron and MSU as his top two. It sounds like MSU might land him but i thought we were done with WR recruits? Maybe he night be a DB at any rate he plays at Bishop Mcdevitt hig which is a pretty good high school program when it comes to D1 players.

The fact that hes down to MSU and Akron makes no sense. He has offers from other bigger name Div. 1 schools too. Look for him to pick Akron as I'm almost positive we won't be taking any more WRs, we already have 3 for this class.

Regardless, I'd be very surprised to see him end up in EL.

With Ingram still out there, Kevin Whaley coming in for a visit, and with Ray already coming, why would we need another RB. We are done with WR and DB.

I didnt think he was on our radar either but spartanmag just recently had ana article about him and then moved MSU to high interest with him so there has to be serious interest from MSU and Julian Harrell.

Where di this RB recuits name come from?? I havent heard anything about him until about two wqeeks ago spartanmag posted his name as a possible RB recruit but i didnt think MSU had a serious shot at him. He is coming in for a visit??

I thought the story on Whaley was that he wasn't actually a legit guy in terms of offers / visits. He may be a plan C type guy, but I just don't get the impression he'll end up in green and white.

I dont know if Harrell has an offer but all this talk about him and MSU on both MSU recruiting sites just makes me wonder that he might come to MSU. Otherwise why would there be all this talk about him?
