No problem. He got bumped up to a 3 star when Rivals did their last database update on the 21st.

We usually need more than this at this time.

And we usually end up short. I just don't see us getting one every 3 days. My guess will be we end up 3 short.

No, because teams are still waiting to hear about blue chip guys like Nick Perry, Ingram, etc. Once these guys announce the staff can offer plan B's if necessary or offer recruits at other positions. Hopefully, some of these guys will commit and help the staff with some mo for the final push. Ingram could help by announcing for MSU soon, and a few nice pickups could influence guys like Perry to go with MSU when they see the staff has put together a good class.
Too bad Hoyer had a bad day Friday, a big bowl win over a much higher ranked opponent could really have helped the staff down the stretch. Instead recruits see a team right on the cusp of a turn around. Beating BC would have given the impression that the team had rounded a corner at PU, and had learned to win. This still is probably true, but beating BC would have been further proof for MSU leans.

See Nick Foles and Michael Jordan. It's not a deadline. It's just the first day that they CAN sign.

I believe we finished 2 or 3 short last year even with Foles and Jordan, and JLS apologists biggest excuse was he was short of scholarship players?

The problem with JLS was that we had people not qualifying, transferring out, or getting kicked out. Not that we couldn't get enough players to sign. If you look at the last three JLS classes we signed 28 (2006), 27 (2005), and 31 (2004). That's not short. That's oversigning.
We signed 23 out of a max 25 last year and granted some other scholarships to walk-ons. Most people didn't think that we'd have enough room to sign that many. Same thing this year. The big question has been how we'll have enough free scholarships to sign 25 when it appears that it would put us over our 85 scholarship limit if we do.

He is visiting MSU on the 11th. Does he have any other visits set up with other schools after the 11th? If so with who and when bc i think we have a good chance of getting a commit from him after his visit but i dont want to jinx anything.

maybe the ghost page contains the infamous ghost email to trevor, and that's why we're not allowed to see it.

Will be visiting USC, UM, then Miami before signing day.

Are there any RS Juniors that graduated and don't play much that may be looking to move on with their degree?

That's because you are a D list poster.

Remember, last year we thought we had Everson, and he opted out at the last second for Iowa. And, there were some other recruits that wanted to come to MSU, but the coaches did not have an offer for them. I think one was Kaunda Hancock? He was like a S/WR from DCD (I think). He really liked MSU, but we never offered. He would have come I am sure, but I seem to recall Dantonio making some comments after signing day that we were not going to fill up the class just to fill up.
That being said, this year looks a lot better than last year. We are still in on some solid recruits, and we have some solid guys as Plan B and Cs also. We will get to 25, and I think we may need to turn some guys away.
