Remember, last year we thought we had Everson, and he opted out at the last second for Iowa. And, there were some other recruits that wanted to come to MSU, but the coaches did not have an offer for them. I think one was Kaunda Hancock? He was like a S/WR from DCD (I think). He really liked MSU, but we never offered. He would have come I am sure, but I seem to recall Dantonio making some comments after signing day that we were not going to fill up the class just to fill up.

That being said, this year looks a lot better than last year. We are still in on some solid recruits, and we have some solid guys as Plan B and Cs also. We will get to 25, and I think we may need to turn some guys away.

Not only that but if Perry were to choose State over the other schools on that list, i think it would give the perception that State is doing things. However it does not look good. He has the 3 more visits and is spending time with other recruits of those schools right now at the Army bowl. Right now there is very little MSU presence.

Carson Wiggs	K	Grand Prairie, Texas	South Grand Prairie High School	Purdue	It is difficult to find a legit three-way threat in the kicking game like Wiggs. He not only possesses great size and leg strength; he is fundamentally sound and a solid technician.
Darius Willis	RB	Indianapolis	Franklin Central	Indiana	Willis is a strong and determined in-line back with all the physical tools to succeed at the next level. He is a fine blend of size, speed and power as a runner and a late bloomer whose best days are still ahead of him.
Christian Wilson	LB	McKees Rocks, Pa.	Montour	Michigan	One of the more productive two-way players in the class. Projected as a defensive player in college, he combines great size and athleticism.
