MSU is in the final 3 for PA WR/DB Julian Harrell. The other 2, Akron and Miami, Ohio. He'll decide after this weekend.

Jamiihr Williams
I think that will be ok with LB Jamiihr Williams. He was rated the tenth best player in Ohio by scoutingohio.com ahead of linebackers like Taylor Hill, Georgia Tech verbal BJ Machen, PSU verbal Micahel Zordich and Illinios verbal Justin Staples.

Any particular reason Graham chose Marshall? Didn't see that until today.

Because he couldn't get into MSU or ASU.

If Pete Carroll takes the Atlanta job will that effect our recuiting other than Perry? (Espn is reporting that he's interested and is talking to Blank)

Pete Carroll won't take the Atlanta job. In any event, Perry is the only kid of ours that it would affect.

It depends on what the guaranteed $$$ would be. He might just make a bunch of money and then after getting fired he can retire or take an easy job like Hawaii

If PC takes the Atlanta job, it would affect recruiting. Perry would likely drop them from consideration. My guess also is that USC would stay more focused in their backyard again. California has a ton of talent - not sure why they have to nationally recruit in a usually sparse Midwest state...

ROJO last year, perry this year. . .
The top 5-6 players in MI are usually pretty damn good.

I don't know if they have to recuit here. It's more like the kids are recuiting to get to USC. As much as I have loved MSU since I was 7 years old, if I had the talent to play at USC, I'd make one of my top places to consider without them even contacting me.

What is a 'Magenta" recruit? Sounds like something from Blues' Clues.

A lot of those guys, however, are getting contacted BY USC. There's enough talent in the southwest for them to basically stay in their own backyard and do just fine. They are extending themselves quite a bit to come up here and recruit even if the guys are pretty good.
Frustrating to say the least - not that I want Michigan to get those guys - but its better for the whole area if people like Rojo, Perry, etc stay in the midwest.

I think everyone is looking at this all wrong. Why? Because we all know that the only college players who make it to the pros are those that went to USC. Even the four star players who ride the bench and and never play go pro. Automatic! What are all these players thinking? Oops! My mistake. There's that word again...thinking.
