No, I want him. Seems like a solid prospect. But look at UM's commit list. A lot of guys that are much more highly touted than him.

Kevin Grady was more touted than Javon Ringer, and Matt Dorsey nailed it when he said Grady was fullback. Odd you wolvies never point out when MD hits one right on the head, Grady is a joke who racked up his yards in hs against nobodies.

I actually gave Dorsey his props on this board for nailing that one.

I would be if I were an UM fan (which I would never, ever be. I would rather cut my dick off and/or kill myself).

The Michigan Rivals board is reporting a rumor about Charles Burrell,
"I'm hearing that come Monday, RR and staff are actually going to be looking at him for.... QB??!"
If they did offer him as a qb, which wouldnt be that smart cause he can't throw that well but I guess neither can Pat White, the temptation to play qb in a spread option could be tough for Burrell. I hope he sticks with his commitment and stays Green. He will step in and play in the two deeps at safety right away. Would be a HUGE loss if they were able to convince him to flip. Dont fall for it charles!

I would be. I figured the combination of a run-oriented offense and Jackson staying would have locked up McGuffie. If he's still looking around that has to worry um fans.
Is Cissoko still looking around (he was looking at visiting Penn State IIRC)?
The next couple weeks could be kind of rough for um. However, knowing um, all of the guys will probably stay and they will add Pryor and Perry.

That rumor is not coming from one of the mods. I wouldn't worry about it.

They'll tell him QB during recruiting season, and he'll end up elsewhere in fall camp. Do you see Burrell beating out Pryor at QB, should RR step in it and land Pryor?

obviously not, but I just found it interesting to share. Here is a piece of news from the DET news blue chip report that is very interesting from his coach.
"What people don't understand," coach Donshell English said, "is he's grown two inches since the start of school. I think Michigan State would be mistaken if they don't give him a shot at quarterback."
I really like the fact that he's grown a couple inches, make him an even bigger safety. If his coach wants him to get a shot to play qb, I would take a guess that Charles does as well. MSU probably won't give him a shot, but if U of M does, the temptation to switch could be there.

I'm sure they will give him a shot. Maybe that is why no qb in this class. Not that he will be switched to qb, but he could play it if needed.

If Burrell wanted to play QB, I mean, REALLY wanted to play QB, then the staff would give him a shot. We toyed with the idea of a QB with Dysert, so why not?

He actually pointed out that he was toying with OSU commits by wearing the UM shirt. He has said nothing like that about wearing the OSU sticker.
