I just got done reading the article on SpartanMag and I am pumped up!

It's encouraging to see a full list of what should be nationally recruited guys. Finally our offers are listed against all of the big programs. This is the first step. Not one of these guys can be described as 'under-the-rader' or MAC-level. Also, we are targeting kids in-state AND out of state.

If you haven't read the article yet, check it out. For the first time in 4 years, we are going after the big dogs. Enough of the 'you have to show up at camp to get an offer' bull****. Even if we only land 2 of these guys, it will be our best class since Bobby. I really hope that we put together this year's version of Illinois recruiting class in the Big11Ten.

I kept waiting for JLS to put together an early offer list like this and every year he disappointed me.

Dan O'Neil..should be a solid 4 star. UM has offered, I think MSU has as well? Doesn't look like he'll decide anytime soon, which is good for MSU- most people think he's a UM lean.

Oh my, here we go again. You lost all credabilty last year with your posts regarding RoJo being a 'um lean' and Dionte Allen being a 'um lock' around this time of year.

I realize how incredibly early this is in the process, but in the past...how early have players commited to MSU? I just read that George White commited last April (Of course, he signed with Missouri later) and I was just wondering if we could expect and commits anytime soon.

Always fun watching kids choose the green and white. It could be a one armed blind kid for all I care.

We might get a commit or two in the next month or so. Things will really pick up during the summer camp.

If anyone is wondering what kids might pull the trigger for MSU soon...here are a couple of WR's that look to decide soon...

Jimmy Saros is down to MSU and NU. Pretty obvious where the guy will be headed.

Fred Smith is down to MSU, UM, OSU, and Illinois. Looks to decide soon. Say what you will about the other schools targeting him, but I have heard that this is Dantonio's #1 receiver target and Smith really likes that MD is recruiting him so hard. Compared to OSU and UM, who have a couple other receivers of his caliber they are recruiting. Will decide sooner than later...

well, UM got Warren last year and Cissoko this year. I am pretty sure that they made up for the loss of Allen, but Johnson had to really hurt scUM fans.

Very true...but those two are the exception not the rule. Last year was just a really weird year.

So far this year UM has been the early favorites for 3 top in state players and has gotten all 3.

they still have plenty of time to change their minds and do the right thing by going to MSU. Cissako would be a star in E.L.

You just proved the point that it is better for us if players that are favoring UM drag on with the recruiting process.
