I read that Ingram will be there, but this is the first I've heard that Perry will be there as well. Getting the two of them on campus again is very important. For Ingram, his visits to MSU have sandwiched the rest of his visits and Perry has a ridiculous visit schedule coming up. The staff needs to be all over Perry until he announces.

Perry to UM. Lock it.
Now that I said that he will end up at USC.

Silly statement. It's the 18 yr old kid making the choice, not the coach. You can make every logical argument in the world to a 18 yr. old but that doesn't mean they make a good choice. If Hill and Fitzgerald both go to um to fight it out with the other 4 LB recruits instead of coming to MSU and starting, that's their choice, there's no button the coached can push to make the kid commit to MSU.
Dantonio and the staff will get it done. If it isn't with the 4 star kids in this class, they'll do it with a darkhorse or the kids already in the pipeline. Look at it this way, MSU may already have recruited next years Greg Jones.

You coached Div 1A before, so therefore an expert rival highlight video watcher?

Well I agree with part of it, anyway. That 18 year old kids are kinda dumb and don't always make decisions that are best for them. People are mad because the coaches aren't trying to make their decisions for them.

So the Michigan Rivals site claims he commited.
The ticker on Spartanmag has nothing.
His profile hasn't had news since last year.
and they haven't entered him as a commit yet in the database.
Seems fishy.

Where's the sunshine? Last year Dantonio snagged Jones who's an AA as a freshman, and the staff already have this kid committed Jamiihr Williams - Football Recruiting He could do the same thing next season that Jones did this year. He's also from a school with a pretty good football program that will produce more D1 kids. He's already 6' 2", 224lbs, and runs a 4.65 40. He doesn't even have to bulk up, he's pretty much there.
As far as Hill goes, you had to believe he was a very long shot and probably headed for um. He'd already committed to RR once at WVU, so how surprising is it he did it again?

Mainly because they looked to be full at linebacker. From a recruiting standpoint it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Yeah, at first that's what I thought as well. But you know, I think Dantonio has a good eye for talent so I will trust him for now. Obviously Hill is highly rated, so perhaps he would have been a good fit. Perhaps he wasn't. In any regard, Jones and Gordon will start regardless next year. Misch filled in decently last year as did Roush. A freshman not come right in and take a starting spot anyway.
PLUS there was talk about a safety coming down to play some linebacker next year anyway. I know on paper we are thin there. But Hill didn't come, let us move our attention forward. Here is hoping we get Perry and Ingram.

Sorry but that is funny.
Hill and RR pulled a good one on us.
I give em props, "savor the flavor kid, cause it won't happen again."

So the staff has to inform you about everyone they are recruiting and in what order?

Well like I said, if the kid wants to go to AA and battle with the other 4 guys they've recruited for that position... what can you say?
My point to Calispartan was not to get all overboard with three weeks left, and to have some faith in the staff.
