you're acting like a bitch with low self-esteem. I think positive yet don’t melt-down when things don’t go well. There is a way to be positive yet still be prepared to deal with failure when it may occur.

But usually expecting failure is what brings it. It's called self-fulfilling prophecy. If more people around the program thought like you we'd really be ****ed. Makes me glad you're thousands of miles away from the Duff.

YouHoyer
This just shows your ignorance. Hoyer was the one getting Showtime the ball and giving him 10+ opportunities a game to make plays. You think Devin was 100% responsible for Hoyers success this year yet Hoyer isn't responsible at all for Devins?

If anything Hoyer tried going to him to much instead of reading through all of his progressions. Devin wasn't perfect he dropped some easy catches as well which made Brians job harder. Brian also had 12td’s and 1,400+ yards that devin had no part of.

Hoyers going to have 2-3 very good receivers next year in dell, cunningham and Smith and I suspect multiple threats at WR will benefit Hoyer more and prevent him from locking on to one WR all the time.

His favorite WR leaving could actually help his development.

The Hoyer argument is an impossible one to make with some people. You're wasting your time.

so i guess we are not gonna take a qb this year huh? I think we need a dual threat qb to change the pace a little. foles and cousins seem like drop back passers. just my opinion! any good dual threat qb's for next year on the radar?

Word is we're in on one of the Top pro-style QB's in the state for next year, with things looking promising. Kid's out of Midland.

We'll be going after a few QB's next year - hoping to land a really good one. There's one from Midland that's suppose to be very good (maybe #1 recruit in Michigan).

Yes it does, I think around 105,000. So does Penn State and Tenessee.

I think it's funny that an ex-player doesn't know that their biggest football rival also has a stadium that seats over 100,000 people.

certainly adds some insight into the mind of Pryor. Glory hound that doesnt want to be caught dead in a stadium with less than 100,000 capacity.

But, who gives a ****. This is a thread on MSU recruiting. Not B10 recruiting and not a whining to each other thread.

There's an airport where they can settle their disputes. .. .

Anyways, what else do we need for this class??

I'd say

2LB
1OL
1DE
1DT
1RB
2TE

What does everyone else think?

Not a bad list. I would like to see some balance in classes with so we are not stuck with a year where we have no one at a position

The only exception is QB, it's not a terrible idea to skip a year once every 3-4 years as far as QB is concerned, helps establish the "starter" and the "heir apparent" and reduces the chances of a QB controversy. Ideally, you take 4 QBs, 2 each year, 2 years apart. One guy who seems likely to be the starter, and the other who will push the starter and can be a quality backup.

I don't see us signing 8 more guys. Probably closer to 5 or 6.

My wish list (among those still in play):

1) Perry (LB or DE)
2) Ingram (RB)
3) Smith (LB or DE)
4) A JUCO OL
5) A TE of some sort
6) Balogun, Lucas or Scruggs

Bishop and/or the Jude brothers are likely at this point IMHO (as long as no problems surface), which means we may only end up with about 3 or 4 of the above (realistically, one of the top two, one of either 4 or 5, and one of 6).

I am pretty close to in step with you...

1) Perry (LB/DE)
2) Ingram (RB)
3) Smith/Scruggs (DE)
4) An OL prospect
5) Bishop
6) Balogun, Lucas or Edet

I just don't have a good feeling about Smith.

Agreed...but T A&M does have 9 lb/de commits right now...we could offer earlier PT. But hard to pass the local connection.

We shall see.
