IMO it would be a mistake not to turn this guy loose on a QB.

Anyone know who the new commit is? I went to bed last night expecting to wake up to some good news but now the anticipation is killing me.

Bishop
Is there any news about T. Bishop's academic situation? Where is all of the Beckford news coming from? I thought that he was solid with Purdue.

I don't have any info, but my guess is that its Tre Bishop, we were supposed to be finding out about his grades early this week... and after all it is early this week.

Is this what Hondo is all jacked up about?

Yep, Spartanmag reported that he didn't take the trip.
That's a reason why the Spartanmag staff doesn't release the names of kids committed elsewhere that come to visit MSU until after they make the trip. If the school they are committed to catches wind of it, they can try to change things.

While I am not getting my hopes up yet, I think this would be a huge get for . He needs both Ingram and Perry, but either of them would be good. Neither of them would be a big recruiting loss for .

I'm just saying I don't know where people think Hondo is going to announce a recruit is committing. When is the last time he ever got that inside information? Nick Perry still has 2 visits to go and is visiting with U of M coaches today, they even think they're leading. So no that's not the announcement and Ingram hasn't visited with all the coaching staffs for in-home's so I strongly doubt it is that as well.
Also Hondo states "The Spartan Nation will stand and applaud this great news. his announcement will once again impress the Spartan Nation as this program continues to move forward." I have a feeling this is something along the lines of Upgrades or something related to this football team and not recruiting. Possibly he's going to state Arthur Ray is playing spring ball? Who knows.

I think not getting Ingram would be a huge loss forget that he is a legacy he has had MSU at and near the top during the whole recruiting proses we need Ingram to prove that can close but Perry would just be gravy

I think we need one of Smith, Perry, or Ingram.

Do the bums provide a service or information for you?
I'm waiting for you to blame the lack of LBs in the class on Neitzel.

Getting Perry would be more than gravy- That would not only be fantastic, it would be the headline of the 2008 recruiting story.
