They aren't getting taken. They are paying for "insider" information. It's no secret that when a kid commits, everyone knows about it and Rivals knows that. People pay for the information that they get from HS coaches, recruits, etc. If you don't think it's worth it, fine don't pay it and don't get the information. If they want to pay for it, good for them.

Reading the recruiting thread at lunch is the highlight of my sad, pathetic day.
Yes, you should pay for premium content.
But, once it's in the public domain, it's fair game. You can't copyright news. If someone wants to post news here 10 seconds after it's been announced, there is not a damned thing anyone can do about it.

Ninowesco, you are like Palestine. You just want something to call your own, but you don't have the resources to get it. So what? You live on what is technically someone else's land. Do you have as much right to the land as anyone else? Yes. Is the land technically yours? No.

Big M, Yellowledbetter, Natron. You are like Israel. Big, wealthy countries that can afford the good life. You own the land and don't want to share it. Why not? I don't know. Maybe because you paid dearly for it and feel others should too. Maybe because you have core ideological differences over intellectual property rights. Who the eff cares? My point is this is the worst analogy ever and you guys need to stop fighting. You will have to live together for a very long time, so you may as well forge a constructive dialog...preferably one that actually deals with the topic of the thread.

And that's fine, I dont think anyone has a problem with vague summaries, you can get them at recruitingplanet.com for free as well. However, what some people do is run over here and post them the minute something comes down on the message boards. That's just ridiculous.

I don't subsrcibe since verbals are worth less and less every year.

But I have never read where a recruit has told the recruiting services that his visit stunk and hell will freeze over before he would go to school in that God forsaken place and be coached by that ego manic.

They always have enjoyable trips.

He's a LB who really wants to play fullback/H-back. Curious where Dantonio is recruiting him. If its at LB, I doubt he goes to MSU.

I've gotta say that we don't really have any fullbacks recruited either, I just can't see why they'd tell him that unless they are saying that they are looking at him for linebacker, but would give him a shot at fullback.

you act like others and myself only get info from rivals. Sure the yellow was from rivals, but there is a lot of info I get at about the same time the rivals guys do (or other sites for that matter) that I did not get from rivals. ****, I don't even pay for rivals. There are people on this site that have their own connections.
