Who are "you people"? ....I don't even care what Big M says any more than Big M cares what I say.

Yes ingram's father went to MSU but is it really why he is considering MSU... probably not. Mark Ingram Sr. has spent a lot of time in and out of the criminal justice system, including being arrested in miami for check fraud and being arrested for back child support. It seems that if this were an extremely close relationship Mark Jr. would already be a spartan. Even though I do not know the situation personally it would seem to me that if my father was in and out of jail my whole life and failing to pay child support I wouldn't be racing to follow in his foot steps. I think this whole legacy argument is BS. Mark Jr. knows he fits in well at MSU and it would be a great place for him to have a solid career.

Well, he was sitting behind Ringer and Caulcrick. FWIW he only had 12 carries this season (and a whopping 37 before that).

Who is going to notice besides the tiny portion of people that follow recruiting? maybe in 2 or 3 years some football announcers would bring it up as an interesting factoid about Mark-

It isn't like MSU's program hinges on landing a single recruit. Somehow, I think we would find a way to keep our football program going.

ah, gotcha. I also suspect if we do or do not get ingram and we land perry, it will have the same effect.

Oh landing Perry would be even bigger, obviously. But like I said I'm not going to say he's as much a "must get" recruit since Dantonio would be pulling the upset to get him IMO.

Couldn't be said any better. The need to keep in-state stars in state is huge to both schools.

Yes, the program will keep going but that dynamite recruiting session has to be somewhere. The longer it waits the more likely the team will never take the next step.

Dropping UofM is going to cost Mr. Wilson some stars. I'm sure rivals will be dropping him to three stars any moment.

Wilson already has decommitted. IMO no chance he ends up at MSU because he wants to play offense and apparently Dantonio is recruiting him more as a LB.

tick tock tick tock. I would tell but then that would kind of defeat the purpose of me paying for it.
