Really, honestly, when it's all said and done, is it really worth it? Does this Red really make it worth it?

Welcome to the Spartan family, Mr. Rolf.
Gotta like getting another solid Ohio kid at a position of need.

Wow. Looked like a real dog fight. This must be Hondo's groundbreaking story.

Good article on Rhonne Sanderson. States how he has great upside and technically sound and should get even taller and bigger. States its down to MSU, FSU, and then U of M. Yes U of M. Do they even have room?

MSU offered 2009 WR per scout.
Donald Spencer from Ypsilanti.

Interesting. Michigan has room and desperately desperately needs OL.

Make it worth what? Paying for the site? I pay more for the analysis than the recruiting info. I think of it as a bonus.

"Michigan, Michigan State and Florida State are my top three," said Sanderson

I guess you have room because you have like 3 OL leaving the team as well as your top 2 graduating. That being said you guys have 4 commits already at OL, not sure why you would want another. To me it's better to have the classes spread out. Than having all freshman. Wouldn't be surprised to see a JUCO OL.

I can guess they aren't cherry picking us. Sanderson sent out highlight tapes all over and I highly doubt Michigan is looking to see who MSU is going after and then decides to go after them too. That being said if they swoop in and get his commitment I will be pissed.

You mean like Dantonio has been all over multiple UM commits?

I think he means...there is a difference between competing for common Ohio/Michigan/Pennsylvania recruit rather than recruit that are half way around the country.
At least, that's what I think he is talking about. I don't really agree with it.

Or say....New Jersey?
Oh and to the point- UM's new staff has major major ties to Florida.

Personally, I'm not one to get on coaches for trying to get guys to decommit or targeting other school's recruits. Coaches do it all the time, at UM, MSU, and elsewhere. It's basically a common rule that guys are fair game until their name is in ink and sent through a fax machine. (For MSU fans that think this doesn't happen here, Nick Foles was an Arizona State decommit, Greg Jones was a Minnesota decommit, and I'm sure there are others on the roster).
I do find it interesting though, that Dantonio and his staff are the first school to go after these guys that have a terrible "ranking" (i.e., 1 star, 2 stars, NO stars in Sanderson's case), THEN other big time programs follow with offers and all of a sudden their stock shoots up and they commit elsewhere. Either Dantonio is a good evaluator of talent and he is being taken advantage of in doing other schools' dirty work, the rankings bias is really showing through here, or both.
