The kid is quoted as saying that he has hit from over 60 in practice

I hope they at least release the names when they get on campus. IMO the magentas clearly brought a lot of hits to the site. Guess it makes business sense to keep doing it..

Kicker prospects, they scare me.

If he can hit from 60, at least we know we have a future kickoff specialist at the very least.

Hey, Comp's gotta put food in his kids' mouths somehow!!!

I still think it's garbage that they have 3 services over there that you have to pay separately for, whereas at other rivals sites you get it all for 10 bucks.

Here is a quote from Tom Beaver from the U of M scout board. FWIW this guy is pretty good at forcasting where guys will end up at.

1. DE Nick Perry. Crucial guy for U-M ... altho at least we know now that he is NOT MSU-bound no matter what (more to come).

sounds like he got inside info that Perry will not be picking MSU at all.

No kidding. Someone criticizes you for pointing out that he's pretty small, while in a post before that they make a totally stupid comment about them having much less tangible "character issues". Ugh.

Agreed, its one thing to question size, but to question character of an 18 year old that you don't know the first thing about is wrong. Add in calling someone out for questioning size and your setting yourself up for being the worst poste rof the day. Scully is a ( I always wanted to use that one!)

Lets see:

- Scout
- UM board

Yep, that's reliable.

The '3' mystery guests were not reported on the Bunker. they have been quiet on anyone but Scruggs or Fleming.

not so much forcasting, I should say at getting inside info. He knew Donovan Warren would pick Michigan before anyone else and he also knew the days before that Fred Smith would pick MSU. I wouldn't count it if it was just his opinion, but it seems he got a tip that Perry would not be picking MSU at any chance.

scout U of M is on a whole different level than scout MSU just so you guys know. It isn't nearly as bad as the MSU one.

60?

Big Ten coaches are happy with making 40 yarders with 75,000+ fans screaming at you playing on the road.

Keep in mind he made it in practice, probably with no D against him, no fan watching, and he probably was like 1 for 10 from that range. Its nice to know he has the leg to attempt it in an emergency sitation and has a good leg for kickoffs, but I don't think we will be kicking 60 yarders any time soon. I just hope he is consistant from 40 and in.

It sure is quiet in here for a Friday before a big visit weekend. I guess it is because we only have 2 confirmed recruits coming in. With only 2 weekends left shouldn't we have 5-10 recruits coming in? I mean we have 7 open scholarships but only 2 non-secret(the kind that seem to never commit) visitors? Should we be expecting an anticlimactic finish to this recruiting season?
