Again, I don't know if we were planning on using a scholarship on a fullback. But who knows...

I wanted to see a kicker in this class, this is good news!

We are recruiting him as a fb/h back...that is what he wants to play. he will go where they will allow him to play that position. That is the only reason he would have interest in msu in the first place.

Randy Salmon

Louisville recently missed on Stockbridge (GA) quarterback Tyler Bass, who committed to Maryland. But the Cardinals still could land Bass’ talented teammate, 6’3, 290-pound defense tackle Randy Salmon, who will make an official visit to Louisville this weekend.
“I’m going up to Louisville tomorrow,” Salmon told InsideTheVille.com Thursday night. “I have a visit scheduled to Michigan State next weekend, but if I commit to Louisville that would be my last visit.”

How strong a possibility is a Salmon commit to Louisville this weekend?

“It’s high,” Salmon said. “They’ve been with me from the get-go and they’ve worked with me and helped me get my (academic) stuff together. They’ve shown me that I’m one of the top guys that they want.”

Note to Nick Perry: Well Nick it's over. You can turn your brain off now. Your choice of school has been hijacked from you. You absolutely cannot attend MSU because it has now been decided by others that they are out of the running. It's amazing isn't it...how quickly your own right of self determination can be taken away from you. Just remember you can't decide to attend MSU so just forget about it... it's no longer possible. or is it?

I just hope he is consistant from 40 and in.
I think these are great points. Give me a kicker who's never missed inside of 25.

Let's not go too far. Hondo has the least amount of credibility of anyone that reports on this stuff.

Hondo at least has great contacts within the MSU organization and has interviewed every coach from Dantonio to Les Miles. His style may be lacking, but his info is pretty accurate.

I hate Tom Beaver. Hate him. Despise him. But he has literally hundreds of better sources than Hondo. Come on.

But I doubt that Tom Beaver has better MSU contacts than Hondo. Which is ultimately what I care about. Beaver saying that MSU is out of the Perry sweepstakes doesn't mean anything to me.

Ok, but that doesn't mean the only sources on Perry are MSU ones though right?

I do agree that most people are probably just going off of Perry's direct quote, but FWIW Josh H. seems to think MSU is fading as well (but again, I don't know if he's going off the quote or something else).

I think a lot of that is wishful thinking. I have been saying for a while that I thought he would wind up at USC, but he wouldn't just eliminate MSU for no reason. It would be a pretty big "**** you" to cut us just so he could have a "Top 3" list with less than 2 weeks before signing day. He's a little classier than that, IMO. I also think that Perry tells whomever what they want to hear. Everyone has said that he's been really tough to read.
