Nothing like closing out our class with Cameron Jude and a walk-on kicker!

Yes...that is a good point. Didn't Petrino take a chance on LB Nate Harris a few years ago? I think Harris was the stud LB from Miami that was in some trouble with the law. I think that JLS was in hot pursuit of Harris as well.

What's wrong with Jude?
Don't worry we are going to add a few more names before and on signing day.

Fair enough that you don't trust MD (or are implying that we won't be okay). You can go ahead and be a smart ass and freak out about every recruit that we miss out on. I really do not care.

2009 info: Da Chairman said today that Dion Sims was offered a football scholarship yesterday at the game. He is the football and hoop player from Detroit. Does anyone know if Izzo has offered a hoop scholarship as well?

Okay....
For this class, I think the only way it can be looked at as a step forward with some momentum into Spring ball is the following.
1. Mark Ingram has to be a Spartan. No ifs, ands, or buts about it.
2. We need to get 1 surprise four-star commit from: Nick Perry, Christian Wilson, Kevin Koger, Etc. I know, I know, rankings, shmankings....But national perception is important.
3. We need one more linebacker (It looks like we got one..Gardiner, Morgan, ?)
4. We need one more OL prospect (Bradford, Sanderson, Omemdeh)
5. We need one more DE prospect (Shouldn't be an issue...Bishop or Jude)
Scruggs was an upgrade on Jude & Bishop. I think that may be why there was quiet on the Bishop front. Don't be surprised to see him commit assuming he qualifies. All in all, I don't expect this scenario to play out. If we were to only get Ingram, then I think the class measures very closely to last years. I am kind of worried at this point.

Izzo won't be offering him a scholarship. If he were to play basektball he would use a football scholarship becuase there are so many more of them. I'm sure Izzo would let him play basketball as long as Dantonio is okay with it.

I already think this class is a step forward. The reason being they have recruited speed and lots of it and do have some solid athletes in this class. If these things happen I think it would make the step forward look more substantial but I already feel this class is a step forward.

He has a offer from OSU (Gardiner). I'd say he is a pretty big effing deal.

It is a Greyshirt though. Still an offer so he must be good but why didn't the staff offer him earlier?

The point being, OSU wants him to be a Buckeye. I'd say he is a good player

I do -- as well as most people who read this thread regularly.
In contrast, go ahead and try to find a single person who cares what you think. I dare you.
