Who are these insiders? I mean, are you saying Perry is sandbagging everyone that interviews him at this point?

As far as I'm concerned, Perry is going elsewhere unless I see him put on the hat and sign on the dotted line. No sense in getting your hopes up at this point IMHO.

That was the only thing I noticed, but again, bench press and weight can be fixed if the kid has the kind of motor it seems like he does.

Could you get more defensive?

well you can gain some but at 205 and a bench of 280 he has a lot of work to do in the offseason. would most likely have to red shirt..

Not being defensive, but I think MSU people need to not get their hopes up on this one. Perry has told two different sites from two different schools that MSU is 4th. Now, could he be lying? It's possible, but it's unlikely.

It's sort of like UM and Pryor, even though he hasn't even said anything publicly. When 90% of people think he's going to OSU..the odds are pretty good he's going to OSU, especially since the tone hasn't changed since he visited Michigan.

I don't think we really need immediate LB help (barring injuries), so that's probably the plan....

It's what happens when someone says "there's going to be a huge recruiting surprise, I'll tell you about it soon".

I do think that he's playing a lot of people and having fun with the recruiting process, but I've thought for a long time that he's not coming here. I'm just about 100% sure that he's ****ing around with the recruiting services though.

Well, I guess we'll see.

Oh AA- has there been any thought to making a recruiting sub board for next year? I think that would solve a lot of problems...

You've got a kid that everyone has said is very hard to read and won't tip his hand about where he's going, yet people are getting quotes and other stuff out of him that are completely contrary to that. Then we're mentioned as an after thought after leading a couple times in his recruitment even before him visiting his other schools. I think that he tells some people what they want to hear.

I've put thought into it. I just don't know if we'll see it in practice. I agree that it would help out a lot. There's too much chatter here and not enough recruit tracking, IMO.

Yeah, would really like a definitive answer to the question: was Rhocko Koury at the game Sunday?? If the slickster was still here I bet he would know.

Ohio ATH Isaiah Pead just got a qualifying test score. Should give him a call?

Someone mentioned they thought they saw him (R.K.) sitting behind the bench, but then I read that it was another recruit, I believe for '09, sitting there. So it sounds like people are seeing recruits but mis-identifying them, and posting the wrong names here.
