Is it possible that Trevor pays Big M per post? Is Big M paying his tuition to law school from the money that Trevor is paying him to upset the loyal spartan fans on this board?

Once I realized that this board is the equivalent of a virtual tailgate, things like this stopped bothering me. This board is no meant to be for diehard MSU sports discussion.

- Ingram - good chance...better than 50/50 with Bama as 2nd in my mind. Ingram is going to Bama or Iowa.
- Khoury (yep) - I believe he was in EL last Sat - signing day Khoury didn't visit, and Khoury will sign with scUM.
- Bradford - wild card. I am upbeat on this one..could be the orange This CA OL is not going to be a Spartan.
- Bishop (purely grades at this point) Will be a Spartan if his grades are ok.
- Morgan (not looking good) He's going to stay with FAU.
- Gardiner - could also be the orange but I think he is in addition to the orange Bet you that Gardiner IS the orange.
- Jude (a lock unless we get a particular recruit(s) and pull the scholly, which is the only reason I can think he is waiting until signing day) Jude will be a Spartan, not exciting to me at all. Hello Plan D recruit.
- Omameh - unknown to me how serious this one is Not gonna happen.
Then 1 signing day surprise in addition to the above....either mystery TE or a UM flip (other than Khoury)
Then again, this list could change in 24 hrs..

You my friend, need to put down the green and white crack pipe. This class WILL NOT close out well, but that said, I'm still happy with it.

Wow. Not quite a pessimist and certainly not an optimist. Nice realist view but you may be a little to harsh there (we will see). scUM de-commits are a bit ambitious but there is no reason why we can't get Ingram. Jude is about plan D but if MD sees it in him he should be okay. I hope we can finish well. By well I'm hoping Ingram, Bishop, Gardiner, Jude, and maybe a wild card (probably not high profile... Maybe a plan C offensive lineman). So that's a class of 24. Not bad. I also kinda include Anderson in this class so I see it as a good step forward.

yep. works out way better for MSU if he chooses USC or Miami over UM. He should be a 5-star player in my mind and if he chose UM in two years they would have three 5-star caliber players starting on their D-line. Graham, Cambell, and Perry. He should just go to USC where he might play with even better players.

Was reading an article on Michiganpreps that I found interesting.
Michigan State might get some more bad news before the end of the school year because some of the players that are committed are not where they need to be academically and they are hoping these kids that will not be named come around and get the test scores they need to be eligible.
We have offered a few borderline kids that their grades might not be in order. One I'm pretty sure is Keshawn Martin. Anyone else know the others? If players don't qualify, this class could get WORSE.

I agree that Perry is gone, but based on a gut feeling and nothing concrete. I don't believe that he or Ingram have decided, by comparison, if you look at some of the other top recruits (4 and 5*), they typically reduce their list to two schools. I think we are in the running as much as anybody else at this point. Perry has no family connection to MSU, his coaches don't, etc., why would he carry us along, just to be nice. That doesn't make sense to me.
I believe he will decide on USC but is still strongly considering MSU.
My gut says that we get Ingram, deal is done. Iowa just signed another running back (2* but still) and the Alabama articles make it sound like he's a long shot for them.
Hopefully I'm right on Ingram and wrong on Perry, we'll see. And to disagree with a previous post, doesn't anybody else have a funny feeling that has something up his sleeve?

I am really excited about Martin. Come on Keshawn! Study! It's ****ing high school! You can do it! Would be horrible news if we lost a couple recruits, then loose out on Ingram/Perry, and then Bishop fails to qualify. I would consider crying myself to sleep if we only got 18 commits and we lost someone like Keyshawn.

You forgot to add at the beginning, "In my opinion, " You're just going to get these guys' hopes up if you dont.

keyshawn, anthony woods and winston are more then likely the ones in question. You better believe Dantonio has seen all of their mid-term grades and they all stand on solid ground in terms of qualifying. Keep in mind michigan preps is ran by Josh H. (Wolverine)
