Yep. All I know is that the people that are suggesting '09 are rarely wrong. Very rarely. From there its just an educated guess.

I assume a Maxwell commit would take MSU out of the picture for Schaaf?

Maybe, I don't know for sure. I know that Maxwell was about the first player offered for '09 and I have no idea if Schaaf has been offered. That scenario is probably likely though.

Almost everything I have heard is that he is going to play baseball and forget about Football. I guess he is an awesome pitcher

Re: Clearing up the Dawan Whitner rumorsReply

I have wasted a lot of time this week trying to chase down rumors that some dumb ass started.

Greg Scruggs - I told you he wasn't at the game but that moron said he was and half the people on this board believed him.

Whitner - You know how hard it is to track down a Glenville kid sometimes.

Does this fraud think that if you throw crap at a wall enough it will stick. I don't attack competitors, but this guy is not that. He is a tool whatever name he goes by.

If I hear a rumor, I verify it before it hits this board. That's the way you do things.

I get tired of that crap. You have no idea how much time I have to waste to sift through this BS.

I'd love to hear a comparison of the two. I've heard great things about Maxwell, but Schaaf's measurables are .

- the orange is NOT dawan whitner or however you spell his name
-most likely the orange is one of the two 09 silent commits.
-Maxwell seems to be one of them, but will not be announcing now.
- likes maxwell a lot better. this is why maxwell has an offer and schaff does not.
-there are only THREE scholarships left.
-no one was backdated even with enrolling early...scholarships were already used up for this year.
-there has been lots of speculation including pannell, the ol from ill, whitner, torrance, moore, koger, etc, etc none of them are it
-the orange is NOT an OL recruit. wants Omameh or another OL recruit that has visited (not stevens).
- for 09...popular speculation of orange is #1 norman, #2 campbell, #3 sims
-if you have not went to rivals and watched the video of norman...you better go there now! It is some of the best video out there for a junior lb film

So there are 3 scholarships left. One saved for Perry and one saved for Ingram. MD wants another offensive linemen but this isnt it. 1+1+1+1=4

What does one have to do with the other? A kid who is being recruited by the MSU staff should wait to satisfy a bunch of jock sniffers? Give me a break!
