Is that a problem for you? Would you like me to ask you as well? What do you think of the Ingram situation, Natron?

Danton this is why you are my favorite poster...

Yes, the orange is real. Which doesn't bode well for us. It most likely means that we don't get one of our big time recruits

This is on SpartanMag.
Hint to everyone, you can do a free 7 day trial on the site. Good time to use it.

Ok so you were grasping at straws long enough to think we had any shot at Perry. Ingram, fair enough, I guess still shot although its not a position of need. Who else can we assume it will be? Bishop? Heuter? Those are really the only names left that I can think of unless its some ****y magenta name that I'm sure will not pan out either

Well, if its a RB or DE, the likely assumption is that Perry or Ingram has told the staff they aren't coming, hence opening a spot for a Plan B kid.

Exactly the only fit there would be Bishop, correct?

Yeah, it was a fools hope that kept my heart in it.
I would imagine it's Heuter. He visited and was thinking about switching from Central.
Whitner isn't going to make the grades. Most likely Bishop as well. So who does that really leave?

I think it would extremely unlikely it will be someone who is intending a signing day announcement. I say we can cross off Perry and Ingram for this one (and we aren't gettin either)

I don't know about that. Coach D has been turning kids down left and right supposedly and of course his grades come into play

Natron is correct, I know as much as Rivals tells me. I have one connection that has gotten me one scoop ever, and it was the lackluster "Narduzzi was recruiting at Glenville" note from today...
Aside from that-It does appear that Ingram is going elsewhere. From the rumors on the Bunker, to the fact that he didn't commit about 3 months ago, to that oh-so-familiar sinking feeling in my gut that I only ever used to get everytime we tried to hold onto a lead in the 4th qtr. when John L. was at the helm...
And, if Ingram does indeed go to Iowa/Bama, look for everyone at SpartanMag, not to mention many on this board to say "Oh well, now we have room for Caper...". That justification is utter BS. Ingram is a stud. He will be a major player in college. Maybe Caper will be too, but who is to say he ends up a SPartan for that matter? I do not blame the staff, as Coach D and ENos were on MI as hard as they possibly could have been, and we all know that ENos is a badass recruiter. As it turns out, it would appear that Mark just doesn't want to follow in his dads footseps THAT closely. He wants to blaze his own trail somewhere else, and that is just unfortunate for MSU, because we really could have been a perfect situation for him to succeed. All in all, I think we need to let him go, and wish him the best....and who knows? He is a high school kid, with over 48 hrs. left before his presser....STranger things have happened.
Bottom Line, I feel we currently have a better shot at Perry than Ingram, and that should be a pretty good indication of my confidence in signing MI...
BTW - Whoever is in the backfield got some help up front tonight....

Excellent post. I agree with most all of it. People don't remember what it is like to be that young and choosing a school. Best to MI wherever he goes. Most likely Bama.
And so I am assuming that the orange is an OL then?
