Is MI's announcement tomorrow official or he is still scheduled for signing day. I have read the long list of people with "credible sources" who believe that MI has eliminated MSU. I would think that if he has informed the staff of this (which you would expect him to) why wouldn't this become public information? Do those same "credible sources" give any indication as to whether the staff is making one last pitch or are they moving on? It seems like alot of this is fueled by his statments to the Bama recruiting people ...
I follow the national scene a little bit and their are kids flipping all over the place, just saying that although it looks grim, nothing is in stone.
Just some thoughts.

C:3
WR: 8
DE:6
DT:6
LB (SAM, WILL, MLB): 9
CB: 6
Safety: 6
P: 2
K: 2
Thats 77 four year players - need to fill in the remaining 8 with RS guys. Plus a plethora of walk-ons that can be good practice / scout guys.
Perhaps more DT, DE and LB's. They take time to develop.

The red-shirt guys don't play a position?

It seems as if The Zooker has put a fence around the area and is pulling all the talent from D.C. to Champaign, IL.

Man, we have a young Defensive Line. And I would put Trevor Anderson in bold, no way he doesn't start next year.

For the first time in almost 20 years, I can say our numbers are pretty healthy.
Now we need to get quality (not saying there is not now) in the bottom 40

BTW & FWIW...there are grumblings on SM that MI may not be out of play. This would surprise the living hell out of me and I am not sure how reputable it is...well, it does come from a decent poster.
Again, FWIW.

Hey, anything we use as hope for tomorrow's announcment...
There is another poster at SM that showed another post from someone that says MI has decided to go to MSU after NP texted him over the weekend, saying he had decided to go here as well...
I'd really love to think that's true.....but I don't.

Yeah I read that as well. I am not holding out hope for either one, esp. not both.

If we do land NP and MI, I'll be as happy as one can be over two 18 year olds chosing to be Spartans and buying into MD.

The perfect signing day storm:
MI and NP chose to be Spartans and Pryor choses tOSU.
The Detroit media, comming off the Brady loss, would be in full meltdown.

the problem with stories like this one is that it is too easy under the umbrella of anonymity to make up a BS story and just sit back and watch everybody run with it.
that being said, as i have posted many times before, i think perry ends up a spartan, and i wouldn't be surprised if ingram comes too. i also wouldn't be surprised if they're playing off each other a little. another credible poster on SM has stated that the plug may have been pulled too early on MI (as i'm sure you have read).

This is the problem with following this stuff the days leading up to signing day ... 24 hours ago it seemed to be the consensus that MI had "formally" eliminated MSU (thus, the rumors escaping).
Ah, the roller coaster ride of the RCMB.

Exactly. No point in predicting anything at this point.
Hell, he'll probably go to Arizona State or Tennessee now.

If that poster is right, I would imagine it would leak out today. If someone from his coaching staff really knows that, more people than this guy will hear about it.

I agree Big M. Like I said in my earlier post, take FWIW.
Also, if the Freep and News did not exist I would want Pryor to go to UM for UM fans like you. I know many good guys that are hard core UM fans - but the UM propaganda maching is so absurd, I wish ill to UM.
