every OL prospect is a project. You do not want freshman playing on the offensive line right away.

Here's my confusion with Ingram. A few weeks back he said the two main things for him were 1) early playing time and 2) winning championships. I can understand if he wants to go to Iowa, because it seems he'd be a 4-year stater, or at least see good action from day one. At Alabama his chance of winning championships isn't that great, considering the teams they'd have to beat in the SEC. Moreover, they have some returning talent at RB. At MSU, there's a similar struggle to win because of Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan etc, but it seems he'd be a three-year starter. So Saban must be selling him some good stuff if he ends at Alabama.

He's certainly not selling him on the campus or community life. Tuscaloosa is a hole.

No surprise. Only some small reports earlier today indicated the was still considering MSU.
Baker and Caper are huge recruits. I think MSU lands one, if not both.
From everything I've read, this Caper is the real deal Holyfield. I have not read anything on Baker except is he a target.

Caper and Baker are both great but MSU needs one of them or some other highly rated RB to commit early. It would suck to be 2 days out from signing day going through this again. MSU's offense is based around a great RB.

Fact: current OL target Patrick Omameh committed to Cincinatti last summer but has now received offers from MSU & UM, primarily because he added three inches and forty pounds since summer. Bottom line: kids are still growing in high school and it's foolish to write a player off because of his measurements last summer when he's had three quarters of a year to grow.

Is the news coming from Dorsey re: Ingram recent or rehashed from over the weekend?

Dorsey gives MSU a 3% chance tomorrow. Says it is Iowa and Bama.
