Losing NP and MI is a shame but this is still a decent class. I won't call it good until I see some of these kids on the field in a year or two. I don't think we can call it good until we win some of the battles for the top in state kids. I don't consider Fred Smith and Tyler Hoover battles. It's not Coach D's fault, but I am still happy.

Are we expecting any late flips or suprises today? It appears we are done with our 21 and on to maybe some kids in the spring and focusing on 09.

For his sake, I hope to see him gain 1500 yards for each of the next four years. For Sabans sake, I hope Alabama goes 4-7 every year.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

We have an altogether different enemy now.

isnt RR going to counter-sue WVU for their recruiting practices, that HE orchestrated?

We got a great class and will continue to build.

exactly - if a football or basketball recruit decides to go anywhere but (gasp) MSU, there must be some shady dealings somewhere... or "we" decided "we" didn't want them anyway...

How the hell can I prove a negative?? You don't have sources, but until I can prove that you don't have them, you do? Nice logic, genius.

I wish Mark Ingram all the best -- but I also hope that he gets pushed out of bounds during his first game at Alabama and breaks both of Nick Saban's legs.

You mean Saban needs to stay the **** out of Michigan and quit poaching high level recruits. This **** can't happen next year even though Saban has targeted more Michigan recruits already

PSU is about 120 miles from Pryors hometown. CBus is 200 miles. Doubt an extra hour in the car would make that much of a difference.

Columbus is only about an hour farther away than State College. So, distance is likely not an important factor between the two.

Christian Wilson, scUM decommit, signed with UNC today. Too bad, he would have been good in green/white.

Well guys....

I think it's just about time to button this god foresaken thread up....

Move it next door to the 09 thread, and hope for better results next year after we trounce Bama in the Capital One Bowl.

Really like this OL class after reading some more stuff in the latest SpartanMag.

Deyo = 6-6/265
Hueter = 6-7/295
Ruhland = 6-6/270
All of those bodies suggest that they are great tackle prospects. Also, Woods at 6-3/305...that looks great as well.

The idea of possibly adding 6-5/260 super-athletic McDonald is very nice too.

Why wait until we trounce Alabama in a bowl game to start doing good? How about we start doing good with recruiting now, I'd say our first 6 commits are pretty good.

He's going to Columbus State for Fall 2008 semester and will enroll on scholarship at OSU in January.

After all of the "end of the world" posts concerning Nick Perry last signing day, there are now rumblings that he may not qualify. Interesting little twist to the story.
