I was just thinking, has anyone heard Leonidas' and Iggy's opinions on the recruitment of Lorenzo White, Jr., and Mark Ingram, Jr.? Lorenzo, Sr. is apparently still friendly with Perles. So would these players be Perles stooges, who would throw games in order to get Dantonio fired, thus paving the way for Pat Perles or Pat Shurmur to take over?

Seriously, does this sound much more far fetched than their other conspiracy theories?

Rivals continues to give players there stars. While there are still alot of evaluations to be made, here are some of note...

Fred Smith (4 Stars)
Brandon Green (4 Stars)
Nick Perry (4 Stars)
Tyler Hoover (4 Stars)
Kenny Demens (4 Stars)
Mark Ingram (3 Stars)
Corey Johnson (3 Stars)
Deon'tae Pannell (3 Stars)
Zay Dysert (3 Stars)
Ethan Ruhland (3 Stars)
Rocko Khoury (3 Stars)

Also, Charles Burrell is ranked as one of the Top 30 Safties in the country. Not an outstanding thing, but not bad either.

I'm not being patronizing here- for a team that lacks DB skills, a top 30 safety is better than "not bad".

That is true, although I do feel confident that Wiley & Key will be solid this year, maybe even Warrick. Now the Corners, that is a different story...

I have confidence in the corners this year as well. Personally, I think most of the problem with the secondary the past few years had NOTHING to do with talent or ability. I believe it had to do with scheme. The scheme put them in a position to fail more so than even any lack of talent might have. I think this year you will see a DRASTIC improvement in the play of the corners.

I definatly think there is a bit of talent, they just arent proven. But I guess that does somewhat tie into being out of position. I think everyone is really concerned about the Linebackers, it's really pretty bad. After Thornhill and SirD, who is gonna fill that other LB spot?

Florida in addition to every other school on his offer list offered to increase their chances with Big Brother.....

Out of the schools that offered him, only two (Florida & MSU) were recruiting his big bro.

Good article on Go Spartans on the White brothers from Livonia Stevenson. These two would be a nice pick up... I think the'll be 3 stars before they graduate.
Whats even better is their younger brother who I think is the best of all of them - You'd have to imagine if they both got got offers from MSU, the third would follow along.

Jonas Gray now has MSU as his leader. If he commits, expect Kenny Demens (4 star LB) to commit as well.

Would be HUGE HUGE HUGE for MSU if this were to happen.

Demens is an OLB. And that would be HUGE.

The Gray article is definitely good news, but I'm not getting to excited about it. He plans on taking quite a few visits and still going to some camps.

Nice!!

The article says that Ringer has developed a relationship. I LOVE RINGER!! How many seniors would help recruit the #4 running back at your position that will come in for your senior year? I love the kid.

It states that Demens and Gray are a package deal now.

Demens 4-star, #14 OLB
Gray 4-star, #4 RB

These guys are difference makers. Demens is very impressive on film! is the man.

I love that this staff goes after big-time players and do not settle for less.

True, Gray has changed his mind a few times now but it's nice to atleast be in consideration early on with a top instate prospect as opposed to trying to sneak in late as with Barksdale and RoJo.

MSU can offer a lot of early PT for Gray and Demens. If Dantonio can lock them up MSU has a chance to win the instate recruiting battle with UM.

Michigan already has 3 of the top 7 prospects.

Michigan hasn't offered either Gray or Demens

How would that equal MSU beating UM in-state?
