no its not, but he was on our radar and it is a recruiting thread no matter how often others try and turn it into a retrospective about past MSU seasons.

The fact he was on our radar and now he is off the board is relavant to this thread

Looking at Prospects, have we given Coulten Ray serious consideration, looks like MD offered a scholarship. I mean, he is just 2star MAC talent, but look at this
Wt: 185 lbs
Forty: 4.49 secs
Bench max: 315 pounds

My guess is he is rated a 2 star because of his height and weight. I would love to land him. Would move him to CB?

How are we going to do in Ohio this year? Last year Jeremiah was the #4 player, this year we don't seem to be getting a second glance from anyone in the top 10 in the state, what gives?

you asked "what gives." right now MD is targeting the best players in MI, and not the same caliber guys in Ohio...?

OK, coach is focusing on MI at the expense of Ohio, I can live with that. Your first post said he's doing good in MI, no explanation of Ohio. I'm not an expert on recruiting so if I should have assumed that from your first post I appologize. Back to the suject though, I love having the strong hold on the state, but I hope he can keep the balance so we can be there for some good players from Ohio, especially since he's already got ties there. I'd rather sacrafice PA right now than Ohio. I think with 's ties to the state there's more to be had, or lost, there than any other state not named Michigan.

It won't be Perry but it could be Deon'tae Pannell.

I think that it is Perry. But you are right about the non-commitment from him because UM's Scout page said that he will still take visits. That is a good thing for MSU.
