One more point- package deals rarely work out. Not saying MSU couldn't get Gray and Demens, but most of the time it doesn't work out that it was a true package deal.

(In other words, if MSU gets Gray and Demens, it will be because both want to go there, not because they were a package deal)

Yesterday MSU wasn't even on Grays rivals list, this is great news because I was just going to start a thread about that. Anyone know why there was such a change in heart or was it just Rivals being stupid.

Those lists are not updated very often. MSU has been on his list all along.

Scheme and lack of player development, i.e. coaches who didn't know how to teach kids to cover.

Along that same vein I hope we finally have coaches--for the first time in 10 years--who can teach our WRs how to catch and hang on to the ball.

After what we saw with Michael Jordan, I'm setting that line at 2.5 days.

Well Big M, maybe Lloyd does not want Gray, but every other post I have seen in The Fort for the last two months now, at least when I look, is about Gray.

Not saying he is coming to MSU, but he is a top flight player for sure.

I didn't say Gray wasn't a good player did I? I just said that UM hasn't offered him, so its hard to say MSU "won" or beat out UM.

And yeah there is a lot of talk about Gray because everyone keeps wondering why UM hasn't offered.

Yep. The reason scUM isn't offering is there are doubts about how he'd fit into a zone blocking system. He'd fit into our system, so who cares.

The fact OSU and PSU haven't offered kind of tempers my enthusiasm. But he'd be the best RB prospect we've landed since Ringer.

Yeah....and do we know if ND has really pushed for him? It seems odd that they were the early favorite and now is off the radar completely.
