Good get but there goes our star average.

He'll get coached up to a 5* LB, though, or at least a 4*.

Its truly a great day to be a Spartan. Kid seems to be a decent player.

If we can get Pannell, Ray, and Dandrige during the week, I will have a very giddy ass.

I read a post on SpartanMag that he did not play LB last year because his team had a lot of depth so he played offense and was the offensive MVP. Some people think it is an error, it would be a solid get if it is true.

It's possible if he is a real commit that he could be used as a fullback or a linebacker.

He's a 2 star (5.2 )now, but that could easily change, I think a 3 star is 5.4 or 5.5.

Someone update something on Pannell and his delaying abilities.

FWIW this from a PSU Blog...(decision on Tuesday)

"Now onto more bad news. Michigan offensive lineman, Deon'tae Pannell, has delayed his announcement for a few days. He went on to say that Michigan was third but has now caught up to Penn State and Michigan State saying they are all three at the top. With Michigan making up that much ground is such a short time, I would think that is where he is heading. He mentioned that his mothers influence will have an effect on his decision."

I have seen Stevens play. He was a Big and Fast RB. Not blazing speed, but ran people over and scored a 60 yard TD the game i watched. I did not notice him on Defense much, but I am sure he will focus on that more this year. With his size and speed, I am sure Narduzzi/Tressel will coach him into a solid LB by his RS Soph. year!
