The best college coaches in the country have been telling Perry he is the best ever for months and months... After all of that, how could you not be confident that you could beat out anyone in the country for playing time?

Los Angeles Times reporting formerly undecided DE Nick Perry (Detroit/MacKenzie) chose USC over Michigan and Michigan State. He rose up our board after a great senior season. He's still raw, but his straight line and vertical burst is tremendous.

No scUM Hat!?!?! Did they come in 4th??

MSU came in fourth. He said that Tuesday evening. I see that rumor about the missing UM hat is out there, but it was there. I saw it with my own two eyes although I can understand the confusion. Darrin Williams (the RB) said he was sticking wiith Cincy although Michigan made a late charge at him. The U-M hat was closer to Williams but they were sharing that same hat since they both knew they weren't going to be wearing it. And Williams confirmed this when I asked him about it.
But it doesn't matter. All that matters is finishing first.

If he really does decide to come home, it's A)cheaper to attend MSU than UM and B)Easier to qualify at MSU than it is at UM (as the UMers like to claim). Let's see what happens here. If it's announced that he won't be attending USC, we'll have to move this thread back over to the parent forum as it will once again be an active recruitment.

Good luck to him.
As much as I would have loved for him to come to MSU as a non qualifier, I don't wish him any ill will.
Perhaps Coach D will see him on the opposite sideline on New Years'

Still very much in doubt as he has not passed the clearinghouse and needs some more tests to come through for him:
