I don't even feel obligated to stand up for the 7th inning stretch anymore.

Yeah, genius. That must be it. Players stuffing their faces with gum. Must have been Skoal Time.

Yeah. I still enjoy all the little intricacies about going to a game. They still get me excited like when I was 10 and going to Tiger Stadium.

Comerica doesn't feel the same at all to me. The atmosphere is too "airy", not intimate.

Well, it's definitely not as "intimate", but Tiger Stadium was kind of a dump at the end there...and Comerica is more fan friendly. I've heard some suggestions about taking out some of the foul territory and digging in and adding more seats...I dunno how that would work, but it would make some people feel closer anyway. Just one of the things you have to deal with when trying to make sure you don't have obstructed seats....like it seems that half of Tiger Stadium was.

Taking away the bleachers was a horrible idea.

Browsing through this has been worth my time. Guess I had nothing better to do.
Hey Mr. Perry! We really would appreciate it if you did come to MSU and play football, regardless of whether you follow baseball traditions or not.

Well now instead of them being in center field, they are in right field...I know people aren't happy with it, but at least there's something. Still pretty cheap at $12.

This thread was a bad idea to begin with. Especially since the title was "tOfficial Nick Perry is a Spartan" thread.

Maybe the thread title was meant to be positive thinking... you know, saying things that aren't as if they are to be.

So in summary - if we all wear our rally caps, chew Big League Chew and not mention no hitters then Nick Perry will be a Spartan.

Not that it's worth anything since I'm not even close to being a recognized poster, but AA, you got my backing on everything baseball or superstition related.
And for whoever thought Big League Chew didn't happen last year, I give you this from Granderson's charity event a couple weeks back:
