I'm not sure if you understand the role superstition plays in athletics.

He probably starts talking "no-hitter" after the 5th inning.

well come on, if a no hitter is going on. i'm gonna call people and tell them. i did that last year, and verlander had one.
espn always flashes on bottom screen when a guy has one through 7 innings.
and to answer your question, no I did not eat my ****.

Just leave games in the 8th inning like you admitted to before

0% chance we land Perry. We land Perry and I'll streak down I-75 naked and painted green. I'm sorry for being negative, but I just don't see it happening one bit. I just don't think we are strong enough recruiting wise or have had enough on field success to land a fish this big. That doesn't mean I'm not very optimistic about the direction of the program...I've just been burned too many times in the last few years hoping for big names that go elsewhere.
If Perry and Ingram were to commit, you'd find yourself in a MSU football frenzy...everybody would start buying in. Not gonna happen though.

Maybe I'll jinx myself and be completely wrong. I put 0% for that reason almost hoping to do so. But honestly, I'd bet my life savings on Perry not putting on a MSU hat in two days. Not trying to be a hater...just realistic.

I would've bet everything
against Woodley, RoJo, and several others. I wouldn't bet a nickel that Perry doesn't go green. And while Ingram is both an important potential, Perry is a program difference maker for MSU. I worry most about Miami, but I've just got a hunch on this one. I hope I'm right but only for what it will mean to Coach D. He deserves some big breaks down the stretch. This staff has gone all out, and they've done an effective job, one that will only improve future classes for us.

yep. if the tigers are winning or losing by more than 5 or 6 after the 8th inning, I'm leaving. I don't need to stay til they shut off the lights at the stadium like you do. (unless a no-hitter is going on or something).

To which you'd be likely to yell "Holy crap! He's going for a no-hitter!" so everyone could hear it.

Forget it. You just don't respect traditions or anyone else's superstitions. Baseball is one of the most superstitious sports there is. So for you to ignore things like that says that you don't respect the game. Sad.

so ESPN doesn't respect baseball They always say a pitcher has a no hitter through 7, we will bring you live coverage in the 8th and 9th innings.
