Pryor=attention whore=good fit for UMAA
12:06 p.m.: Terrelle Pryor on ESPNU, "I will not make my commitment... I haven't that much time to concentrate on the recruiting process and need more time."
Pryor also said Oregon is back in the mix; he is choosing between Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan and Oregon. He has until April 1st to make his decision.

Of course, because after all you only get a few days to decide. Can you say "It's all about me".
I agree with The Green Apostle, this is really out of hand.
On a side note about Pryor, at the I think Army all-star game, I wasn't real impressed with his speed from everything I had heard before. Maybe it was just deceptive speed.

People like you crack me up. There are many UM fans who want Pryor's offer pulled because he is taking so long. Who gives a damn, the guy wants to make sure he is making the right choice. What is so wrong about that? If an 18 year old kid that you don't know pisses you off that much, you have some very severe problems.

He'll anounce at the Final Four.
Definitely a case of MTS - Marcus Taylor Syndrome.

It's not only that he is taking so long, it's his attitude. Football is about more than just one person. He just seems like an 18 year old kid with a HUGE head.

How predictable, the fans that suck off an arrogant sawed of douche bag like mikey hart see nothing wrong with a kid who wants to milk as much attention as possible before signing a LOI. He'd fit right in with diralects like Larry Foote, Larry Harrison, Shonte Peoples, Mike Hart, Marlin Jackson etc. etc..

First of all, Penn State?!
Second of all, Pryor = an attention whore and a flake. Whoever gets him gets a disaster.

I kind of agree. Dude had plenty of time to make a choice. He's just milking this now.

Listen to the kid. Flake? Attention whore?
The kid played football and won a state championship that took him into December. Then he starts playing basketball. After a summer of AAU hoops and football camps. If the kid CAN take his time and decide, why should he have to sign immediately simply to appease all the recruiting geeks' voyeuristic fascination?

Of course no gaurantee, but it looks imminent.

This is an aside, but I had dinner with Joe Daniels a couple of years ago at the Fiesta Bowl coaches dinner. I had a great conversation with him regarding the recruiting process, his thoughts on MSU and some background on the best player he had ever coached (he had Marino at Pitt). He was a great guy and his scheme lit ND up big time in the Fiesta bowl.
I'm not sure where TP will end up, but if I had a chance, I'd go play for Coach Daniels.

I don't know if he's really doing it for the attention at this point. It's pretty clear that his Dad is pressuring him to go to PSU. He sounds genuinely conflicted.

I thought his dad was really pushing Pitt for a long time. Has this since changed to Penn State?

Terrelle Pryor delays college choice
Quote:
Pryor said he needs more time to make a decision, but did not say when he would sign a letter of intent. The last day Pryor can sign with a college is April 1. Pryor will choose between Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State.
"I want to be fair to all of the coaches who tried to recruit me," Pryor said. "I hope to make visits to Oregon and Penn State."
Pryor only took official visits to Michigan and Ohio State because he was busy playing a 16-game football schedule before jumping into the basketball season two days later.
Pryor has given Penn State some extra thought since Nittany Lions coaches Joe Paterno, Jay Paterno and Tom Bradley visited last week. Also, Pryor and his father Craig had a disagreement Tuesday night about where Pryor should attend.
Craig likes the way Penn State has been recruiting Pryor. Bradley, Penn State's defensive coordinator, has visited Craig at his home in West Newton more than any other coach recruiting Pryor.

|
Not sure how this is a big loss for OSU. They have a returning starter, and a redshirt sophomore who was highly ranked and will be going into his 3rd year in the system (Henton). If Pryor does not attend OSU, Henton will step in as the starter in 2009 with Bauserman (a decent recruit who played baseball first then went to OSU) as a backup and a Freshman in next years class as 3rd string.
Michigan on the other hand has Threet (not an option guy), Cone (laughable), and a 2 star guy most projected as a safety in Feagin.
I think OSU is in much better shape at QB without Pryor than UM.

Is there really any doubt that he's going to go to scUM? He seems to be really close with his cousin.

Didn't his cousin think he was going to Ohio State?

Exactly. This kid is on my nerves. I heard some recruiting dorks on the radio and both agreed the kid is very talented running the ball, but his ability to pass the ball leaves much to be desired.
