2008 Signing Day Surprises Commits/De-Commits
Any armchair oddsmakers care to set Over/Under on the number of players to back out of MSU verbal commitments today?
In the interest of fair play, any oddsmakers care to set Over/Under on the number of surprise LOIs for MSU today?

Zero and Zero. What do I win.
Seriously, there are no surprises either way. Everything's been confirmed on SpartanMag.

That's a beautiful thing. As much as we would love to have a surprise commit show up today, you have to love the fact that is an upstanding trustworthy man who doesn't play games behind the scenes.

eh... sometimes I'd rather win and get good players. I could give two ****s about being an upstanding individual if we only win 7 games every year.

I think every coach would try to flip a player... even MD.

Agreed! Lock it. Prior experience with our recruiting classes had me very skeptical.
NOW, let's talk when these guys all make it through to Fall.

I would hope he is trying to flip anybody he can. That is the name of the game.

Well, Purdue is having a hell of day...they lost both Jerico Nelson (Arkansas) and Roundtree (UM) - both were committed four star recruits. The jewels of their class.
Wow.

So, no MSU decommits or surprise commits? Besides not getting Perry or Ingram everything is as expected?

12:51 p.m.: ESPN 150 RB Darrell Scott picked Colorado over Texas.
thats gotta hurt Mack Brown...
and how about Clemson stealing Georgia's top TE prospect, the #3 TE in the nation? Time to give props to Tommy Bowden, now if he could only figure out how to coach his team to win...
