don't know if MSU has a shot but he doesn't appear to be heading to Michigan anymore.

If 0% is a shot, then that's what we've got.
Just because they haven't sent in their LOIs yet doesn't mean that they aren't going to.

From the DetNews:
10. Kenny Demens
Detroit Country Day LB
Ht.: 6-1
Wt.: 220
College: Michigan
Best recruiting experience: It was Michigan State. They were the first school to offer me. I love the defensive coaches there, the way they came into the city to recruit.
Worst recruiting experience: Soon after I committed to U-M, there were a number of schools -- Tennessee, Michigan State, Illinois and Wisconsin that contacted me after Lloyd Carr announced he was retiring. It got stressful again. It was like, 'Wow, I thought I committed already.' I told them to hold off. If the new staff at U-M didn't work out. I'd have a back-up plan.
Why not MSU? It was a like a spiritual thing. I was at church. My preacher was talking about staying at home. Home is what you need. At the time, I was considering Nebraska and MSU, along with Michigan. I thought the Lord was talking to me. I got the chills. I looked at my grandmother (Connie Bass), she looked at me and said I should stay at home. Later that night, I called coach Carr and told him I was coming. I'm a spiritual person and I felt the Lord was telling me to stay close to home.
Best recruiting trip was State but the Lord told him to stay close to home? How far is E.Lansing from Detroit, an hour? How far is Ann Arbor from Detroit, an hour?
My God is this kid ridiculous........

No way. What is that, exit 146? And MSU is 106?
Yeah, no traffic and 87 mph, you're right.

Michigan: Meet Stephen Schilling and Carson Butler. They’re the reason why the cupboard isn’t bare for Rich Rodriguez. Carson Butler is the next Bennie Joppru. And Stephen Schilling is…a right tackle, I can’t do this. The Wolverines are in danger of a 5-7 season. And if you’re a hater? It’s beautiful.

Not trying to start a DSF, but yeah, I drive that way for about 3 years in college, and every saturday in the fall now.
google maps pegs the distance at 47 miles. So to make it there in 30 minutes, you'd be going over 90. Its a 30 minute drive at least, most likely 35
