Any new info on where he will be ranked state wise, or on his star rating?

Does anyone know anything about this kid? I'd just like to get a feeling about what his attributes are. Sounds like a good get, but I know nothing about him.

It is still a little premature but he should be top 5-7 in the state and one of if not the top LB in the state. I would imagine he would be a 4 star RR 5.8 kind of guy

That's pretty much the general consensus.

This kid is SUPER athletic. He flies to the ball, and is a huge hitter. If you have rivals, you should watch some of his film. It's the best I have seen in one of our linebacker recruits (although, I don't have years of experience).

Most of all, he is a good kid. In his interview he talked about wanting to be a biology major when he gets to State, and how he really loved MSU for awhile. He could end up being our ambassador for the Detroit area, much like Burrell was this year. And that would be nice, since there is some serious talent this year.

I am extremely excited for this kid to come here. He is a HUGE get

No. They start at the top and work their way down. Right now, Rivals has only announced the Top 100 for the 2009 class. So everyone ranked 101 and on currently has no stars. From what the Spartanmag staff has been saying, look for Norman to start off as a 4 star ranked in the low 100s who could possibly move up into the top 100 after camps and as his senior year progresses.

No. They do periodical evaluations. They did not give Chris Norman stars because I don't believe that they had tabbed him as a Top 100 Junior at the last eval.

ah ok, thanks i couldn't remember where i had read that. Really like this kids attitude. Solid Spartan, wants to come here. I'm guessing he's a good student if he's planning to major in Biology. And i love his highlights. He seems to really enjoy hitting people

When do the full rankings usually come out? The end of the HS football season?

Late spring I believe. All known players are ranked prior to the senior football season.

"Chris Norman has already pledged Michigan State over numerous scholarship offers, spartantailgate.com reports."

This coming from the 2009 players to watch on ESPN.com. I guess were the new up and coming authority on recruiting

By reporting do they mean collecting articles and discussing them?

Norman leads the way $

Norman is the Top LB in Michigan for 2009. Also lists some names of other top MI linebackers (Abdullah Homayed, Adam Fenton, Will Schwarz)

Per Paul

Michigan sent Norman a written offer, he tore it up and tossed it in the trash. Aparrently he's getting tired of people saying he still might switch to UM despite that he says he's a solid Spartan.

The more i read about this kid the more i like him and can't wait to see him take the field. Thought yall would get a kick out of that.
