Maxwell playoff highlights and video $

Offered after he outperformed every junior and a few seniors at MSU camps last year.

Any news on Maxwell and if he announced anything yesterday or if there was any news related to him?

We'll post things when we hear them. No need to ask.

Is this a "read only" board now?

No, but we aren't supposed to ask stuff like "any thing new?" or "whats going on with this guy?"

Yeah. We're not trying to be mean or anything. Just want people to understand that if there isn't an update about a guy...it's because there's no new news. It's not like we're sitting on anything.

Paul K stated yesterday that he expects this silent to become public in the next 2 weeks...

Norman, Maxwell and Baker or Caper would be an incredible start to '09....

Okay, when is Maxwell making his announcement? I'm ready for it. With Baker now in his backfield and the state's last two #1 WRs waiting for him, Maxwell needs to commit now and keep this train rolling. Ridiculously hyped and I want this kid leading the offense!

Especially considering that we're only going to land maybe 17-18 more kids. Need to save something for the next 11 months

haha, true but I'm just geeked right now. I just think it would add to the buzz if this kid announced and added to the state's best gathering we are putting together.

The consensus on the pay sites is that this guy is an MSU lock, and he is the silent verbal people have been talking about.

Also Maxwell is nearly impossible to get a hold of for these recruiting services. It seems like his approach in this whole thing is to keep to himself and doesn't want much pub. He is a great talent from what everyone says.

Maybe I am just looking at this through my Spartan colored glasses but I am surprised that Maxwell hasn't officially verballed yet. If he really is the silent verbal like everyone says, I would think he would join into the fray of all the states top recruits jumping on the MSU train. Nothing would be more beneficial to the green and white then to land 5 in-state studs this early in the recruiting season AND to have your new stud QB out recruiting for you.

That's one of the biggest things I love, kids recruiting for the school.

ESPN doesn't even have Maxwell listed in their top players from MI for 2009. They do have QB Mike Schaaf from Saginaw Arthur Hill in their top 150 nationally. 6'7" 220, we have not offered, according to Scout he has MSU, um, Bama, USC, FL, and Rutgers on his list. No offers yet.

According to Scout only QB offers we have out there are Maxwell and Renner. They have Maxwell as only having an MSU offer, while Renner has been offered by MSU and VT. Gotta like Renners athleticism, was all-region WR as a Sophomore.

ESPN should really stick to its day job, if maxwells not top 150 or top 10 in state according to them then I doubt they've seen him at all. Schaaf couldn't hold maxwell's jock.

I watched Schaaf a couple of times and thought he was a nice player, but I don't think he compares to Maxwell in my opinion.
